Have you thought about what color shoe you will wear on your Fort Worth wedding day? Probably not or maybe you just assumed you would wear white or ivory. Wearing colored shoes with your gown is a trend that is taking off and I personally wished I would have embraced or even thought of something like this when I got married (although I did wear silver shoes and not white). We all know of course that I am obsessed with shoes, hence the name of my studio but I am making a plea to all of the brides out there. Let’s give your guests something to remember. Ditch the white and ivory and look for bolder colors such as red, blue, hot pink, lime, purple, aqua or even black. When’s the last time you wore white shoes anyway?
These choices really can be worn on another day. And for heaven’s sake; stop wearing flip-flops to your reception. There are plenty of fabulous flats out there so your tootsies stay comfy. And don’t forget to snag a pair for your bridesmaids as well. Pictures last forever ladies and no one wants to be looking at $2 flip flops from Old Navy or bare feet on the dance floor. Just sayin’…
